The private sector in the UAE is an exceptional sector. It is represented by the FCCI which encourages private sector to venture into all activities and functions related to economic development which is one of the continuous objectives of the country particularly as related to investments in marketing and industrialization. To achieve this goal, the FCCI offered its services to support the private sector through a group of programs that includes research studies, service and guidance in addition to facilitating the works of firms and companies on all economic, commercial and industrial activities. In the light of this, the private sector is considered an important pillar in the process of economic development in the country.

 

Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI)

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry is an autonomous institution of public interest. It enjoys its own legal entity to represent the various productive and services activities of the private sector in Abu Dhabi Emirate. The chamber is a private sector representative working to advocate policies, connect businesses and expand member opportunities by providing world-class member services, with an aim to contribute to Abu Dhabi's sustainable economic development.

 

Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry was incorporated under an Ameri Decree issued by late H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Hmaid Bin Rashid Al Nu'aimi in 1977. The chamber is regarded as one of the most important establishments and departments serving the private sector as it acts on representing the economical interests of the establishments and the individuals of the said sector in an aim to develop and enhance its economical roles through providing various services and by representing the said sector's interests before governmental authorities, in addition to providing support and handling any problems and difficulties facing the sector.

 

Fujairah Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture

Fujairah Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture offers its members the best consultation, information and the easiest and fastest services. From other side the international relations and connections of the chamber all over the world with its publications, international participations and through its membership in joint chambers of commerce, the meetings of unions, the economical gatherings, the international conferences and exhibitions beside the delegations it delegates to different countries in the world or through the commercial and economical delegations it is hosting and the conferences, seminars and courses it sets in the emirate.

 

Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry was established by an Amiri decree issued in 1970 by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in order to effectively and vitally participate in the organization of economic life and the prosperity of its trade, industry and professions sectors on all levels and in cooperation with the concerned establishments and bodies and local departments. Since 1980 the services and activities of the chamber has covers all cities in Sharjah City and accordingly the chamber in addition to the head office has four branches in the cities of Khorfakkan, Kalba, Al Dhaid, central area and Dibbs Al Hisn in addition to offices and services of the chamber in the model industrial area and the head office of Sharjah Economic Development Department and Sharjah free zones. There are also many other affiliate establishments and organizations working under the chamber's umbrella.

 

The UAQCCI (Umm Al Quwain Chamber of Commerce and Industry)

The UAQCCI was set up with the intention of helping businesses become more efficient, and making logistics and bureaucracy easier for executives and regular employees. The UAQCCI provides a phenomenal networking source to enable greater functioning and more potential business.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry was established in 1965 by a decree issued by the late Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who realized the important role that a chamber of commerce could play in supporting the national economy of the country. Thereby, Dubai Chamber started its activities with 450 members and a 12-member Board of Directors. The number of members increased to reach more than 100,000 by the end of 2008, representing all economic sectors.
